At Khondrion we want to make substantial contributions in developing a cure for patients like Mees and all others suffering from mitochondrial disease.

Patients with mitochondrial disease may present at any age, from birth to late adulthood. They generally suffer from progressive multi-system disorders for which no cure is available. A substantial part of mitochondrial patients die at an early age.
